What is Membership?

The Membership tool in Home displays sites and course sections in which you're currently enrolled. You can also use Membership to enroll in joinable sites.

Note: Unpublished sites are only visible to site managers (i.e., instructors or admin users).  

Go to Membership.

While viewing your Home site, select Membership

View your Current Sites.

In My Current Sites, view and sort a list of all the sites in which you are currently enrolled.

  1. Click Worksite to sort by title in ascending order. Click Worksite again to sort by descending order.
  2. Enter keywords in the Search field to locate specific sites, then click Search.

View your Official Course Enrollments.

Click My Official Course Enrollments to see a list of all the course sections in which you are officially enrolled by your institution's registrar or student information system.

  1. Term: the academic term of the course section based on your institution's registrar or student information system.
  2. My Official Course Section: the title of the course section in which you've been enrolled.
  3. Course Site: the site where the course section has been added. If the site is available, click the site title to jump to the site.

Joining sites

Use Membership to manually enroll in sites that have been set as joinable by the site owner.

Note: Joinable sites may or may not be available depending on the enrollment procedures determined by your institution.

Click Joinable Sites.

Click Join Now.

In the Action column, click the Join Now option associated with a site you'd like to join.

Leaving (un-joining) sites

Use Membership to manually leave some sites.

Note: if you've been automatically included in a site by your institution's registrar or student information system, you cannot use Membership to leave the site.

Click My Current Sites.

Select a site and click Unjoin Selected.

  1. Select the check box next to the site name.
  2. Click Unjoin Selected.
