What are the Message Center Notifications in my Home site?

The Message Center in Home displays the Messages and Forum posts for all of the sites in which you are enrolled. New messages are indicated by a number and envelope icon. If there are no new messages or posts, the word "none" will be displayed.

  • Clicking the title of the site will take you to the homepage for that site.
  • Clicking the New Messages indicator will take you directly to the Message Inbox for that site.
  • Clicking the New in Discussions indicator will take you directly to the Discussions for that site.

View the Message Center.

While viewing your Home site, select Overview. Move down the page until you locate the Message Center Notifications area.

Hiding sites in Message Center Notifications

Click Options.

Choose sites to hide and then click Update.

  1. In the Don't Show column, check the box associated with sites that you prefer not to see
  2. Click Update.

Note: If you have already hidden sites in Preferences, they will not show up in this list.
