How do I activate community guidelines for Conversations?

Add custom community guidelines for your course that all participants must agree to before viewing posts in the Conversations tool.

Go to the Conversations tool.

Select the Conversations tool from the Tool Menu of your site. 

Click Settings.

Toggle on the Community Guidelines.

  1. Toggle Enable Community Guidelines to On.
  2. Click Edit Guidelines.

Enter community guidelines.

  1. Enter community guidelines using the Rich Text Editor.
  2. Click Save.

Preview the community guidelines.
